The Manufacturing Engineer supports our Equipment Trailer line by planning and designing manufacturing processes, maximizing efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, managing workflow and materials layouts, assembly methods, workforce utilization, and effective programming of machines.
Pay for this position is up to $85k-110k/year (depending on experience) + Monthly Bonus!

Primary Responsibilities:
Help set strategic plan and work cell design to improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, material presentation and equipment layout.
Support and implement new product development projects.
Lead and assist in the development and execution of the Timpte Production System, which includes efficiency improvement, throughput, linearity, material presentation, Kanban process, takt time, labor resource calculations and line design.
Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
Desired Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:
Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent and 8 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; including Word, Excel, etc. as well as robotic and programming software.
Must have experience with resource calculations, flow manufacturing, work cell design and process improvement. Must be able to read blueprints and schematics.
Must have or be able to gain an understanding of the entire production cycle.
Must be able to take a variety of projects with minimal supervision, ability to purchase, and implement in a timely manner.
