Creating and driving AI engineering agendas to advance multimodal capabilities, including understanding and generation across modalities like image, video, and audio.

Improving data quality, developing data filtering and generation techniques, and conducting data studies.

Creating evaluation frameworks and internal benchmarks.

Designing and implementing effective algorithms to achieve state-of-the-art model performance.

Ideal Experience

Proven track record in leading AI engineering projects that significantly enhance neural network capabilities and performance, through better data or modeling.

Experience in designing data-driven experiments and systematic analysis for iterative model debugging.

Experience with large-scale distributed machine learning systems.

Ability to ensure the delivery of the best end-to-end user experience.

Proficiency in Python, Jax, and Rust.

Interview Process After submitting your application, the team reviews your CV and statement of exceptional work. If successful, you'll be invited to a 15-minute introductory call where basic questions are asked. If you pass this stage, you'll proceed to four technical interviews, including a presentation of your past work and vision for xAI, conducted via Google Meet.

Location The role is based in the Bay Area (San Francisco and Palo Alto). Candidates should be located near the Bay Area or willing to relocate.

Annual Salary Range $180,000 - $440,000 USD, including equity, medical, vision, dental coverage, 401(k), disability, life insurance, and other perks.
