Job Title: Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer
Location: Everett, WA (Onsite)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer to lead and support investigations into regulatory compliance issues. In this critical role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance challenges, communicate findings, and enhance internal processes to ensure ongoing airworthiness standards are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities: Lead investigations into regulatory compliance issues using structured methodologies.
Collaborate with various engineering teams to address and resolve compliance challenges.
Communicate investigation status and resolutions to stakeholders, including management and suppliers.
Ensure investigation documentation meets regulatory standards.
Partner with enterprise groups to enhance processes and tools for future readiness.
Communicate complex technical issues effectively to diverse audiences.
Essential Skills Required: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lead and mentor diverse teams.
Initiative in leading cross-functional teams and projects.
Ownership of work activities to ensure timely and accurate completion.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
9+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent education and experience.
Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools and Company Problem Solving Model.
Experience with commercial airplane operations and FAA regulatory compliance.
Knowledge of FAA or other regulatory agency procedures.
Experience in Commercial Airplane-Systems design or analysis.
Pilot’s license or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
