Volt is hiring for an Customer Engineer- Automotive Applications for a well-known automotive parts manufacturer located in Columbus, IN.

Hybrid Role - Work from home & Travel to Columbus, IN as needed for meetings 2-3x weekly As the Customer Engineer you will: Be the liaison between customer and engineering design team to discuss changes Work within the Aftertreatment area to perform Internal Quality Audits (IQA) and review the installation requirements Review to ensure the specs are complying with design changes, submit change requests Communicate any changes and look for replacement parts that are needed This is a full time opportunity with benefits, 401(k), and PTO.

The ideal candidate will have: Education and experience: BSME, BSMET, or BSEE with at least 2 years experience. Good communication skills is a must. You will be working with several clients and several different products. Some type of CAD skills (able to read and discuss designs, but no hands on design work is necessary) Design skills knowledge - use the designs to help customers with replacement parts.

Pay Rate: $35.00 - 45.00/hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidates education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
