YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY: The Audio Video Engineer is responsible for providingtechnical engineering information and assistance to the Senior Engineer to ensure that project complies with the project requirements and all engineering standards, applicable codes, and specifications. The position would be considered a lead design role for a small design group and would be able to lead several small-to-medium sized projects or a single, significant project. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Oversee designers and CAD staff assigned to your work or team of 2-5 people. Review, comment and process equipment and system submittals. Generate project specifications appropriate for the project. Develop complete and accurate sequence of operations for all designed systems. Working knowledge of equipment and system testing and commissioning. Perform coordination between architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, process and all electrical trades. Possess the ability to work within fluid, dynamic situations with tight deadlines. Must have the ability to interface professionally and courteously with customers, both internal and external. Prepare systems single line diagrams, to include conduit and backbone cabling requirements. Coordinate work with the project Specifications or equipment buy-out. Check work for accuracy before passing on to others. Conduct value engineering functions. Attend project design team meetings.
