Your Role We are hiring an Automation Engineer, responsible for maintaining control systems, installations, maintenance, risk mitigation, and ensuring manufacturing and utilities operations. This is a W2 Temp position with potential FTE extension. Oversee control systems, carry out maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and perform thorough root cause analyses. Manage required installations and upgrades as needed. Monitor and assess essential process data to provide recommendations for process enhancements. Drive ongoing process improvements and maintain comprehensive documentation in line with FDA requirements. Create and update electrical schematics as well as P&ID diagrams. Contribute to validation and manufacturing initiatives. Collaborate with cross functional teams and external vendors to ensure production efficiency and performance. Participate in inspections and audits, preparing and submitting detailed written responses as needed. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and guidelines. Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in related scientific discipline (electrical engineering, automation technology, etc.) 7+ years of experience in FDA and cGMP regulated industry. Well-versed in control systems including SCADA, HMI, PLCs, DDC, DCS, and additional automation instrumentation and components. Experienced with a range of process instrumentation and utility systems. Strong knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines. Excellent analytical and technical problem solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proactive with strong organization, time management, and project management abilities. Excellent attention to detail with commitment to quality and compliance.

Benefits

W2 Temp positions include medical and sick time benefits. Estimated annual salary dependent on experience: $90,000 - $115,000.
