Lumenance is seeking qualified design engineers to help our client develop components for active safety systems and package them into future cars. Job Duties

Utilize CATIA V5 to perform the mechanical design (3D + 2D) and packaging of mechanical and elctromechanical components and assemblies ( sensors, electrical units, mounting hardware).

Coordinate with styling studio, other design engineers, suppliers, and factories to ensure all requirements are understood and cross-functional needs are addressed

Ensure assigned parts and assemblies incorporate form, fit, function, and manufacturability requirements

Manage one's schedule for all assignments. Includes tracking of project schedule and working overtime as needed to meet deadlines.

Track the cost of assigned parts and systems

As requested, investigating new technology and industry trends that will evolve into improved or new products
