: In collaboration with key stakeholders, team members, and leadership, monitors and supports internal and client facing systems in Azure and cloud-based technologies. Administers Azure-Based deployments; provisions, manages, monitors, and decommissions Azure related services. Supports Azure-Based platforms including, not limited to, Synapse Modern Data Warehouse, Dynamics 365, Azure Active Directory (AD), and the Azure Power Platform. Employment is subject to the terms, conditions, and policies detailed in the Personnel Policies Manual (PPM). This position requires regular in-person presence as an essential job function.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Acts as subject matter expert for Azure Cloud Services in the Digital, Strategy, and Technology Department (DST) and the point of contact for escalated situations for both product owners and product users. Integrates with project management office and IT process owners (e.g.. incident, problem, change, architecture, demand, knowledge, and configuration), delivering feedback, advising, and advocating for improvement opportunities. Monitors and enhances security of current and future Azure environments. Evaluates and automates the scaling and capacity requirements within Azure environments. Ensures federated access across Active Directory and Azure AD. Troubleshoots and resolves Azure environment performance Issues, connectivity Issues, security Issues, etc. Implements new environments in Azure cloud. Works with teams to Integrate Azure Infrastructure components Into processes and procedures. Develops standards, templates, tools, techniques, and methods to be used by product owners in DST. Understands the strategic importance and value proposition of assigned products and seeks to position products to maximize customer value. Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Expert knowledge of Active Directory administration, Including Powershell scripting and Group Policy Extensive knowledge of remote management software, Including ConnectWise and Kaseya. Expert in Exchange Online, Including Office 365 public sector environments. Expert in Exchange hybrid environments, including Azure AD Connect. Expertise in Teams administration and configuration in cloud environments. Expertise with Azure Active Directory, Backup, conditional access, geo-restrictions Expertise with Windows Deployment Services, Expertise hardware virtualization, including Hyper-V, VMWare, and Azure Expertise with various backup technologies and business continuity planning Expertise in supporting and managing Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Server 2008, Server 2012, Server 2016, Android, IOS, and Mac OS. Demonstrated expertise In taking Initiative and driving innovation. Project management understanding of project scopes, project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for on time, on-budget projects. Skilled in writing and maintaining accurate records, reports, and plans to meet management objectives. Excellent facilitation and conflict management skills. Must have excellent Interpersonal and communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. Must possess a high level of professionalism and integrity to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information. Must have strong customer service, teamwork, and contract management skills. Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with co-workers, County staff, and vendors. Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, project management, business administration, or related field. Four years of related professional experience may substitute for the required degree.
Preferred Education & Experience: Three years of experience in a leadership or project management role.
