Building Maintenance Engineer

We're looking for a courteous, detail-oriented maintenance engineer to provide our guests with a five-star experience. You'll be in charge of overseeing the property’s overall upkeep and carrying out routine processes to make it fully functioning, pleasurable, and safe. Compensation: $16 - $20 hourly Responsibilities: Take care of guest complaints regarding building maintenance and troubleshoot issues
Work with a variety of tools hammers and screwdrivers, indicators and edge finders, drills, wrenches, and other maintenance tools of the trade
Tend to all of the hotel's equipment and conduct preventive maintenance routines
Keep an open line of communication with other team members and staff
Adhere to all engineering safety norms and procedures
Respond to emergencies that occur outside of regular working hours
Qualifications: 2-4 years of maintenance experience is required for this role
Must have strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills
A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required
Good knowledge of computer software; preferably facilities management software
The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required
