This role will allow you to play your part in pushing the boundaries of trading technology and optimise trade execution for investment professionals. You'll work closely with industry leaders to deliver a market-leading order management and execution platforms that supports rapid growth.
About the role:
As a core trading platform developer, you will
Architect and develop criticalponents of our trading system.
Propose innovative designs to improve performance, functionality, and stability.
Developing core frameworks and cross-asset services that provide scalability and reliability for trading operations across a wide array of financial products (equities, fixed ie, futures, options, FX,modities, etc.).
Key responsibilities:
Ensuring that the systems you develop can handle large volumes of trades and transactions, enabling traders to work with low latency and high throughput.
Optimising system performance to ensure trades are executed swiftly and accurately under varying market conditions.
Ensure the system can adapt to changes in market structure, connectivity standards, or new exchanges being added to the firm’s trading operations.
Collaborate with internal teams to build out features that provide apetitive advantage, like algorithmic trading capabilities, smart order routing, and real-time risk management.
Qualifications:
Expert C++ programming.
Experience developing low-latency applications.
Proven track record in building enterprise-level, low-latency applications and multi-threaded systems.
Ability to multitask in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
Experience in the trading industry is preferred but not required.
