Overview Senior Platform Engineer, Workday (Workday Studio)

We are seeking Platform Engineers passionate about developing highly-resilient, fundamentally-sound objects to support Capital One's Human Resource technology. As part of a team leading the next wave of disruption, you will play an integral role in advancing our HR Technology ecosystem and culture of technical excellence. You will champion automation and bring innovative solutions. General Responsibilities: Work with product owners to understand application capabilities and testing scenarios Translate business priorities into HR solutions to meet organizational needs Deliver solutions across Workday modules like HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll, and Benefits Communicate effectively with team, stakeholders, and influence solutions Identify process improvements and collaborate on redesigning business processes Stay updated on Workday updates, fixes, and capabilities Build and maintain documentation for system implementation Serve as primary contact for system-related questions from a business and technical perspective Provide production support by troubleshooting and resolving issues Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent At least 4 years of platform engineering experience on HR platforms (Workday, Peoplesoft, SuccessFactors) At least 2 years designing and developing integration solutions At least 2 years working with APIs in Workday using REST or SOAP Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 5+ years working with Workday HR modules 3+ years designing integrations in Workday Workday Integration Developer certifications Experience with Workday Extend and cloud services like AWS, GCP, Azure 2+ years practicing Agile methodologies Note: Capital One currently does not sponsor employment authorization.
