Position Overview

The International Motors Certification Engineer is a member of the Certification and Compliance organization and is responsible for ensuring our vehicles are designed and validated to meet all applicable regulatory requirements. A key component of this responsibility is being able to understand regulatory requirements and validation test procedures, and assist design and test teams in ensuring procedures and reports support statements of compliance. In addition to program-related responsibilities, the Certification Engineer will be the lead expert in assigned regulatory areas and assist in regulatory program planning for those areas. This role is also expected to identify and implement improvements in the way we work, may manage regulatory agency audits, and may mentor lesser experienced team members.
