Job Description

Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Chemical Engineer to work on projects that enable the heart of our clients' manufacturing in Boise, ID. You and the other team members will work closely with client owners in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - in this role you would work on the client's behalf to review designs, specs and drawings - provide feedback and comment.

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience with design project delivery processes
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Proven leadership experiencePreferred:
    • Minimum 2 years of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools, including installation or cleanroom usage
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Passion for innovation, construction, and building systems
    • 3 years of field experience
    • EIT or PE license
    • Quick learner with demonstrated initiative to expand technical knowledge
    Responsibilities:
    • Act as the Process Chemical Lead and Owner's Representative
    • Serve as the client's technical representative, reviewing engineering designs, specifications, and construction drawings
    • Coordinate closely with both client stakeholders and site personnel to support successful project execution
    • Drive timely and thorough review of design and construction documents
    • Provide clear, actionable feedback and technical guidance to ensure alignment with project goals
    • Contribute to the design and construction of systems that support advanced manufacturing operations
    Pay Rate: $48.56/hr. - $59.13/hr. ($101,000 - $123,000)
    Term: 6-month temp to perm
