We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Chief Software Engineer to lead the FDIC AIMS Modernization initiative, bringing both technical leadership and hands-on expertise to the modernization of vital IT systems. Job Responsibilities: Take charge of the design, development, and modernization of IT solutions that align with the scale and technology of the FDIC AIMS Modernization . Architect and oversee the end-to-end solution , ensuring seamless integration across all components. Deliver hands-on development expertise using FDIC-approved technologies such as Angular, Java, Microservices, PostgreSQL, and TomEE . Champion Agile development practices, ensuring successful delivery through comprehensive software lifecycle methodologies . Create and deploy cutting-edge solutions in Microsoft Azure , applying cloud-native tools and best practices. Optimize database design and management leveraging deep knowledge of PostgreSQL and associated tools. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, DevOps engineers, and project managers, to align development efforts with FDIC objectives. Guide and mentor development teams to adhere to best practices, coding standards, and security protocols . Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in software development and IT modernization for large-scale government programs. Demonstrated experience in designing and managing end-to-end solution architectures with a focus on seamless system integration . Proficient in hands-on development using FDIC-approved technologies , including: Angular (frontend development) Java and Microservices (backend development) Expertise in Agile software development , with at least 3 successful Agile-driven software deliveries . Recent experience in developing and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure . Comprehensive knowledge of database design, tools, and utilities , with a focus on performance, scalability, and security. Must be a US Citizen. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with FDIC or other financial regulatory bodies . Expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployments . Certification in Microsoft Azure, Java development, or Agile methodologies (e.g., AWS/Azure Certified Developer, PMI-ACP, or SAFe certifications). Why Join Harmonia?
