Cisco FMC/FTD Engineer Sr (Hybrid)

- Develop methodologies, evaluations, and recommendations for system capacity planning and corresponding architecture changes due to cybersecurity objectives. - Support cybersecurity posture of Transport customers and technology opportunities, including but not limited to network routing systems, DWDM technologies, cybersecurity, and Cisco FTD firewalls. - Use design, network management (e.g Cisco FMC, Splunk, Solarwinds), and system operations expertise to create uniform solutions and approaches, with attention to long-term equipment management and overall network operability. - Lead, develop and document recommendations for architecture standards within the EACMS network using the Cisco FMC/FTD architecture. - Monitor and analyze the stability, interoperability, and availability of systems and provide architectural change recommendations to increase overall availability for mission and business-critical EACMS networks. You qualify with:
- Nine or more years of experience in designing and/or operating networks or relevant experience. - A degree(s) in information technology, computer science or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
