Responsibilities:

Develops construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, and design narratives

Prepares site and roadway layouts, grading plans, and performs stormwater runoff calculations

Performs layout and design of water distribution and wastewater collection systems

Prepares designs in compliance with project codes

Prepare Master Development Plans and conduct engineering studies

Coordinates design tasks across architecture & engineering disciplines throughout the design process

Reviews construction shop drawings to ensure adherence to specifications.

Engage in collaborative problem-solving with diverse teams

 

Qualifications

Educational Background: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited institution

Experience: 3 to 6 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design

Certifications: Engineer In Training (EIT) is required, PE a plus

Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in Civil 3D and HydroCAD;familiarity with GIS software is an advantage

Strong competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication

Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with high-quality output

Effective collaboration in multidisciplinary teams

Travel Flexibility: Willingness to participate in short-term international travel assignments as needed
