About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer with a strong focus on land development, permitting, and CEQA compliance. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience, proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, and the ability to lead internal discussions and address technical questions in client meetings. Familiarity with DEA templates and workflows is highly valued. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and process civil engineering plans for city and agency review. Lead internal project meetings and provide technical guidance. Participate in client meetings and respond to engineering-related inquiries. Develop design documents using Civil 3D and AutoCAD. Ensure projects meet California permitting requirements and CEQA standards. Apply DEA templates and workflows to maintain consistency and quality. Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience. Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD. Experience working with city or agency plan processing. Familiarity with California permitting processes and CEQA. Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions. Preferred
PE license in California preferred, or active pursuit of licensure. Experience using DEA templates and workflows. Important Note
We are not accepting agency submissions for candidates with fewer than 5 years of experience or without a PE license. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
