: Civil Engineer

Overview of the Position: ECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider, is seeking a Civil Engineer to provide supportive services for our government client. This position is on-site.

The ECOMPEX career position supports the following: Prepare design documents and scopes of work for Design/Build services, renovation, restoration, and construction projects, ensuring compliance with diverse climatic and environmental conditions. Conduct site investigations to gather essential data for new or renovation work. Collaborate with site contacts and multi-discipline design teams, facilitating conceptual design meetings and providing support for project documentation functions. Review and provide insightful comments on submittals, requests for information, and work as submitted by construction contractors. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project sites and propose appropriate solutions. Assist in budgeting and scheduling for projects. Minimum Qualifications: Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to pass a Tier 1 government background investigation. Must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or registered professional civil or structural engineer in a state, District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico. Extensive design experience in Civil/Structural engineering, including preparing plans, writing specifications, and performing structural calculations. Knowledge of engineering design principles for waterfront facilities, such as piers, floating docks, boathouses, bulkheads, and wave barriers.
