Cloud & DevOps Consulting Manager

As a Manager Cloud & DevOps Consulting, you will make an impact by leading the delivery of complex cloud transformation programs and driving innovation across client engagements. You will be a trusted advisor within the Cloud & Infrastructure Consulting, collaborating with clients, delivery teams, and internal stakeholders to architect scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions.

In this role, you will:

  1. Lead cross-functional technical teams to deliver cloud and DevOps solutions aligned with project goals, governance standards, and profitability targets.
  2. Build strong client relationships by anticipating needs and applying deep expertise in Agile, DevOps, and enterprise software systems.
  3. Align consulting teams with broader Cognizant and client ecosystems, fostering collaboration and strategic design thinking.
  4. Represent Cognizant Consulting in client engagements, advocating for our value, supporting rate negotiations, and ensuring recognition of consulting contributions.
  5. Contribute to the development of consulting service offerings and thought leadership to elevate Cognizant's brand in the market.

What you must have to be considered

  1. Proven experience leading cloud, DevOps, or SRE initiatives in a consulting or enterprise environment.
  2. Deep hands-on expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP (certifications preferred).
  3. Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) and observability platforms (Splunk, Datadog, ELK).
  4. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm), microservices, and APIs.
  5. Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and upskill colleagues while delivering high-impact solutions.

These will help you succeed

  1. Experience in FinOps or AI-driven infrastructure optimization.
  2. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  3. Passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of emerging technologies.
  4. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  5. Experience creating and delivering technical training and enablement programs.

Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $81,450-$110,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
