We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of SES , you will be involved in designing, engineering, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio-visual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets. Responsibilities The Cloud Engineering SME will be responsible for developing and delivering the customer's cloud adoption and migration strategies. This role will serve as the Platform Engineering SME, providing technical guidance to design modular operating system baselines supporting the modular data and application Tier hosting strategy. The position will act as the Data and Application Security SME, guiding the engineering of modular security designs to protect workload hosting services on AWS. Introduce and champion SysOps and DevOps concepts within the customer environment. Qualifications Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants must undergo a government security investigation and may need U.S. Citizenship for access to classified information. ACTIVE TS/SCI with Poly clearance is REQUIRED . Key Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field, with 10+ years of experience. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Java, Python, and/or Ruby. Knowledge of virtual networks and network management. Skills in cloud database management, including MySQL and Hadoop. Technical Responsibilities Support and integrate open-source frameworks and products, deploying open-source packages into production environments involving multi-core, multi-threaded, and distributed systems. Develop and maintain requirements and specifications documentation.
