Title:
Cloud Engineer Provide cloud engineering expertise to for the operation, optimization, and management of the customer’s cloud environment.
Support the administration of the cloud environment to include account management, usage management, etc.
Researching cloud-focused solutions turning user needs into technical requirements and providing the technical options/recommendations for Government consideration.
Establish applications, environment uptime, and utilization scaling parameters and metrics
Establish standard policy and compliance metrics by which cloud environment operations will be monitored, corrective responses issued, and reported
Establish performance and cybersecurity framework, perform continuous monitoring, and report corrective actions
Deliver information papers proposing emergent cloud-based technology and best practices
Security Clearance Requirements: Active TS/SCI and willingness to sit for a poly upon request.
At least six (6) years of experience specific to technical and programmatic integration or a related field
Experience developing IT and cloud infrastructure
Experience in software engineering, design architecture, analyzing computer hardware and software solutions
Understanding of best practices regarding cloud environments
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or related discipline (STEM)
Certifications in architecture or IT development
Desired
Knowledge of DoD/IC operating systems and databases
Cloud certification (Azure or AWS)
Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or related STEM field
