Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions that enhance our infrastructure and support our business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud technologies, architecture, and best practices, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
As a Cloud Engineer, you will:
Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Collaborate with development teams to create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
Leverage automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to streamline deployment and management of cloud resources
Implement security best practices to protect cloud environments and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost, and resource utilization.
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, providing support to internal teams as needed.
Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architecture, processes, and procedures.
Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and trends, recommending improvements to enhance our cloud strategy.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure business continuity.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and security principles.
2+ years experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$72,100.00 - $144,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
