Cloud Engineer The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team, focusing on the critical integration of tactical software capabilities into robust cloud environments. You will leverage your deep understanding of cloud architecture and demonstrate hands-on experience across all major Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). You'll engage in developing and deploying scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions, with a particular emphasis on integrating complex, performance-sensitive applications. You'll do work in Java and Rust, which are integral to our existing and future software ecosystem. You Have: 5+ yearsof experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, including system architecture, deployment, and operations Experience withpublic or private cloud administration and managing production environments Experience withAmazon Web Services (AWS), including services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC Knowledge of Linux and Windowsoperating systems in cloud environments Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in a technology field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems and 5+ years of experience in developing cloud native solutions, or 10+ years of experience in developing cloud native solutions in lieu of a degree Nice If You Have: 3+ yearsof experience withKubernetes, container orchestration, and microservices deployment Experience withVMwarein cloud or hybrid environments Experience with scripting or automation such as Python, Bash, Terraform, or Ansible Experience working on Agile development teams or DevSecOps pipelines Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
