We are looking for a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our team in Arlington, Virginia. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing and maintaining robust cloud security controls while ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure systems, monitor vulnerabilities, and optimize cloud environments.

Responsibilities: • Develop and implement cloud security measures in alignment with Zero Trust principles and organizational policies. • Oversee identity and access management in Azure AD/Entra ID, including Conditional Access configurations. • Secure and manage Microsoft 365 applications such as Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive. • Configure and support secure Azure tenant environments, including assisting with tenant migrations using platforms like AvePoint. • Implement data classification and retention policies using Microsoft Purview to protect sensitive information. • Monitor cloud environments for vulnerabilities and system misconfigurations, ensuring timely remediation. • Utilize tools such as Amazon CloudWatch and AWS technologies for performance monitoring and security. • Automate processes and workflows using tools like Ansible and API development to enhance operational efficiency. • Collaborate with teams to manage backup technologies, DNS/DHCP configurations, and auto-scaling solutions. • Leverage Atlassian Jira for project management and tracking security tasks effectively.
