Find your future with us.The Boeing Company's, Boeing Global Services (BGS) Central Maintenance Computing (CMCS) has an immediate and exciting opportunity for aCMCS Electrical System Design & Analysis Engineer (Lead)to support multiple critical programs inHazelwood, MissouriorBerkeley, Missouri.The electrical design work will be in support of developing maintenance equipment to include connections between equipment and aircraft subsystems, network infrastructure, and computing hardware supporting instrumentation and network system connections. Additionally, the engineer will provide support for fabrication, installation/connection, and required verification to deliver a ready-for-test setup. The equipment and software for the CMCS is used to support all phases of platform/weapon development and sustainment lifecycle. This individual will work in a team environment to develop, test, and repair the hardware design for the CMCS system.A System Design Electrical Engineer in this role works with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements, and then analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.A System Design Electrical Engineer also performs tests and validations to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements, as well as monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.A System Design Electrical Engineers solves problems concerning other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle, while researching specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.Position Responsibilities:Project lead activities for small projects, including customer interaction and basic Earned Value ManagementHardware/software integration supportResearching technologies for potential application to company business needsDesign and documentation of electrical systems, components, connections, and interfacesSystem schematic analysis and designSystem requirements analysis and developmentSystem selloff/verificationSystem test requirements analysis and development interface designDevelop electrical wiring required to adapt to test articles & sub-assembliesSupport of lab or flight test instrumentation and data acquisitionSelection of electrical hardware (cables, connectors, shielding, terminal blocks, etc.)Installation support and direction to lab test personnelSupport of problem resolution associated with fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycleUtilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as DOORS, Cameo, and mathematical modeling and simulation to develop system definitions/architectures and perform trade studies (includes integration with interfacing engineering disciplines model-based design toolsets)This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor/Master Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.Bachelor of Science with 5+ years of experience in relevant field of study or Master of Science with 3+ years of experience in relevant field of studyExperience with system requirements analysis, schematic design, and hardware/software integrationExperience or knowledge of RS422/RS232, PC104, TCP/IP & Ethernet, IEEE-488, MMSI, and MIL-STD-1553 communication standards, protocols and/or interfacesExperience or knowledge of common military standards used in hardware design and testing (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1472, etc.)Experience with CAD and creating Electrical SchematicsExperience utilizing JIRA for project management activities like cost and schedule management, milestone, planning and execution of SOWPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience or knowledge of cyber security principals or cyber certificationsExperience or knowledge of network designExperience with implementation and maintenance of systems engineering tools, schedules and metrics (i.e. DOORs, CAMEO, earned value management).Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)Experience with product/systems development and integrationTechnical system domain knowledge (e.g. air vehicle and/or weapons)CompTia Security + CertificationRelocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
