Insight Global is seek a Commercial Proposal Engineer to join a growing Energy Services Provider in their Controls Application and Design Team. As a Commercial Proposal Engineer you would be tasked with working with a matrixed sales and engineering team to compile accurate and timely customer proposals. This person would be leveraging engineering, sales, project management, and execution data to generate precise estimates of overall project scope. These projects would be focused in three main areas gas, steam, or nuclear power plant/grid controls. This person should be familiar with project risk management and project costing methods as it pertains to technical, execution, and commercial risk. This person should have experience in the application/design and/or field service of industrial controls systems.
This role is offering $58-68/hr.

Bachelor of Engineering Degree (mechanical, electrical, or electronic) 4+ years of Industrial Control system design and application Experience working with Gas, Steam, or Nuclear unit control systems Experience using Salesforce and CPQ style softwares Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Familiarity with GE, Siemens, ABB, Westinghouse, or Emerson control systems Experience designing generator control systems Familiarity with tooling estimation Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
