Learn more about us at www.verusaec.com Industries Served: Power Generation Mining Food and Beverage Oil and Gas Municipal Waste/Wastewater Manufacturing Maritime Position Overview We’re looking for a hands-on, tech-savvy individual with strong IT and programming skills and at least five years of experience in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across both office and plant floor settings, supporting systems that keep operations running smoothly. This role includes developing custom applications, supporting PLC/HMI systems, configuring servers and industrial PCs, and working with SQL databases. Some local travel is required. Requirements: Requirements 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to IT systems, automation, or process improvement. Strong SQL skills required – ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot queries and manage data-driven applications. Experience with general-purpose programming languages such as Python, C#, or C++. Comfortable with PC/server setup and configuration, networking basics, and troubleshooting industrial/commercial systems. Exposure to PLC and HMI systems – ability to troubleshoot or assist with automation support (not required to program from scratch). Experience creating or supporting data reporting tools, dashboards, or historian systems. Able to create or contribute to technical documentation, including control narratives, testing plans, or system configurations. Self-starter who can operate independently and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members. Some local travel required for on-site support and commissioning.
