Controls Engineer

Design, develop, install, and maintain equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems and processes. Assists in creating and following electrical design schedule, from specification concept to system up completion, while keeping to an overall project schedule. Help with testing, evaluating, modifying and calibrating products and instruments, analyze plant processes, design and implement improvement. Troubleshoot electrical issues with aeronautic and mechanical hardware and processes. Assist in ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed for all work completed. Requirements
Bachelor Degree or Higher in Aeronautic Engineering, Automotive Engineering or similar
2+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering
2+ years experience working on mechanical applications with Large Mining or Locomotive equipment
Experience reading schematics and data sheets for components
Experience with State Flow, Simulink, MATLAB and the like
Experience performing test with CANlyzer, CANape, or similar
Control systems, CAN, SPI, OPAL-RT HIT
Simulink experience
Experience with battery test cells
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
