Join Our Team as a Cyber Security Engineer! We are on the lookout for a talented Cyber Security Engineer to support our cyber operations and Industrial Control Systems initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with Information Security Offices to design, implement, and maintain robust security solutions that protect mission-critical systems and safeguard essential data. Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include: Designing and implementing advanced cybersecurity solutions using a blend of software and hardware to secure enterprise environments. Conducting ongoing research in cybersecurity to spot emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks to mission-critical systems. Performing threat detection, identification, and incident response activities to protect our net-centric capabilities and network assets. Securing development environments through the use of application security architecture principles and best practices. Evaluating software and systems' security, encompassing web application vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, fuzzing, and malware analysis. Enhancing the resilience of our critical missions by mitigating vulnerabilities and reducing exposure to cyber threats. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle. Qualifications We Are Seeking: Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required. Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, together with 4+ years of relevant experience (equivalent combinations of education and experience are also accepted). Industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP, GSEC) considered in combination with education and experience. Strong background in software and hardware development for cybersecurity applications, including both offensive and defensive security solutions. Proficiency in coding and scripting languages such as Python, C/C++, Assembly, and Java for tool creation and code manipulation. Experience in cyber threat research, uncovering vulnerabilities, and executing exploit analysis. Familiarity with malware analysis, reverse engineering, and code execution manipulation techniques. Experience in defensive security engineering, focusing on data protection, network defense, and incident response. Demonstrated ability to perform web application vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and software security evaluations. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and client-based teams. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced understanding of offensive cybersecurity operations and custom exploit development. Experience with cyber threat intelligence, gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing actionable threat data. Deep expertise in application security architecture and secure development lifecycle (SDLC) practices. Familiarity with tools for vulnerability scanning and exploit testing. Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and NIST 800-53. Background in research and development methodologies to innovate in cybersecurity capabilities. Salary Information: The pay range for this position is between $85,150.00 and $153,925.00, determined by factors like job responsibilities, education, experience, and market conditions.
