In today’s fast‑evolving cybersecurity landscape, businesses across all sectors rely on us to provide reliable solutions to their growingly intricate risks and vulnerabilities. As part of our Cyber Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM) team, you will play a pivotal role in achieving this objective. You will assist clients in understanding and contextualizing their cybersecurity threats, evaluate, enhance, and develop their security operations, and counter these threats effectively. Leveraging both your technical expertise and business acumen, you will contribute significantly to our mission and make a global impact on cybersecurity.

In this role, you will spearhead the deployment of cutting‑edge security solutions for our clients. You will be an integral part of a globally interconnected team of experts dedicated to addressing our clients’ most challenging information security issues, enhancing their organizational resilience. Collaborating with our Advanced Security Centers, you will have access to the most advanced tools to combat cybercrime effectively.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional client services focused on Advanced SIEM Platforms; monitor project progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders updated on expected outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with client personnel, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor in implementation and management.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise and professional knowledge; absorb new knowledge and adapt to emerging cybersecurity technologies.
  • Show strong business acumen with an understanding of the strategic importance of SIEM technologies in protecting client operations.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in advisory services and broader industry knowledge.
  • Apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems to identify issues in client engagements; communicate insights clearly to teams and client management.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the incident response process and familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of related experience, or Master’s degree and roughly 3 years of related experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related major.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with information security systems, including hands‑on SIEM technical infrastructure and implementation.
  • Knowledge of security concepts and methods: vulnerability assessments, privacy assessments, intrusion detection, incident response, MITRE ATT&CK Framework, security policy creation, enterprise security strategies, architectures, governance.
  • Experience leading process definition, workflow design, and process mapping, integrating SIEM and SOAR capabilities into business operations.
  • Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, OSI model), operating systems (Windows, UNIX, mainframe), security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.), and programming/scripting languages (C, Java, Perl, Shell).
  • Valid driver’s license in the US and a valid passport.

Ideal Additional Experience

  • Experience implementing and building SOAR capabilities.
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, UNIX, and other major operating systems.
  • Understanding of AI security tools.
  • Prior consulting experience.
  • Programming in Python, C, Java, Perl, Shell, or bash scripting.
  • Familiarity with REST API best practices and usage.
  • Familiarity with security technologies (Cloud, DLP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, etc.) and other SOAR products (Falcon Fusion, Splunk SOAR, Google Chronicle SecOps, LogicApps, Sentinel, etc.).
  • Desired certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CIPT, CIPM, CRISC, or other relevant credentials.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range for all US locations: $77,500 to $140,900.
  • Base salary range for New York City, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento): $92,900 to $160,500.
  • Individual salaries are determined by factors such as education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
  • Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off options.
  • Hybrid model: most external, client‑serving roles will work together in person 40‑60% of the time during engagements or projects.
  • Flexible vacation policy: decide how much vacation you need; additional time off for EY Paid Holidays, seasonal breaks, personal/family care, and other leaves.
