Dashboard Engineer

We are looking for a Temporary Dashboard Engineer to help turn complex data into clear, interactive dashboards that make it easier for teams to understand, analyze, and make decisions. You'll use Qlik Sense and other tools to design and build data visualizations that drive business insight.
Location: Johnson City Texas (hybrid)
Operation Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Duration: Four Month Assignment
Key Responsibilities
Design and build dashboards using Qlik Sense
Create reports, visualizations, and data models from various data sources (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, Snowflake)
Use GeoAnalytics and GIS data to enhance dashboard insights
Apply best practices in dashboard design, data modeling, and performance tuning
Automate reports and set up data alerts in Qlik
Write SQL queries and use Python or JavaScript for advanced analytics
Maintain and document technical work for future use
Support and communicate with users to provide effective Qlik solutions
Manage and monitor Qlik platform performance, reliability, and security
Stay current with technology trends
Maintain the security of sensitive and confidential information
Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent work experience)
4+ years experience with Qlik Sense or similar BI tools
2+ years experience in Python and JavaScript
Experience with cloud platforms like Azure is a plus
Skills
Strong knowledge of data visualization and business intelligence concepts
Skilled in SQL and working with relational databases
Understanding of Agile development and customer-focused design
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Experience optimizing dashboards for performance
