Position Overview: We are searching for a talented Data Engineer for Product Analytics who is passionate about utilizing data to drive decision-making and product development. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge products. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement data warehousing processes to enhance the functionality of Meta products. Execute data warehouse strategies for specific products to address clearly defined challenges. Identify essential data for business challenges and establish logging procedures to ensure data accessibility while troubleshooting issues in data infrastructure. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to ascertain data requirements and present insights in intuitive visual formats. Ensure data privacy, security, compliance, quality, and operational standards through robust data management practices. Create, deploy, and manage new data models and visualizations using established development toolkits. Independently design and execute data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes into production. Support and enhance existing production processes with innovative solutions. Define and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for datasets within your domain. Analyze diverse problems to derive actionable insights and solutions through judicious selection of methodologies. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, or a related field. 2 years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer or in a related role. Experience in custom ETL design, implementation, and maintenance. Proficient in object-oriented programming languages and SQL. Adept at analyzing data for deliverables, gaps, and inconsistencies. Skilled in managing and communicating data warehouse plans to internal stakeholders. Proficient in Python. Compensation: $195,254/year to $235,400/year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
