We are seeking a Data Engineer III to join our Kuiper Production Operations team, to leverage vast amounts of production and testing data for continuous improvements in predictive maintenance, statistical process controls, and reliability improvement. The role involves building statistical models, analyzing complex production system data, and synthesizing data insights to support decision-making and strategize improvements. This position is based in Redmond, WA, and requires on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities: Develop statistical models to identify patterns and trends in production testing data, generating predictions and correlations. Analyze production system data across multiple sources to identify bottlenecks and improvement areas with actionable recommendations. Regularly collect, format, and report on production and test data for various stakeholders. Synthesize analysis, communicating insights and recommendations across different audiences. Collaborate with program managers and engineers, creating scripts and templates for scalable data analysis and insight generation. Must-Have Skills: 5+ years of related experience in data querying languages (SQL) and scripting (Python). Experience with reliability data analysis or hardware reliability in the context of manufacturing. Skilled in handling large and complex data sets. Industry Experience: Previous experience in aerospace, manufacturing test processes, or test systems development is highly preferred, providing valuable context for analyzing and improving our production testing frameworks.
