Job Title: Mid-Level Data Engineer – GenAI Support Location: Orlando, Florida (Onsite or Hybrid Preferred) Rate: $50-55/hr 1099 or W2 Duration: 6 Months (Extension Likely Based on Project Performance) Openings: 2 Positions Work Authorization: All valid work authorizations accepted Domain: Financial Services Experience is a MUST Job Overview: We are seeking two skilled Mid-Level Data Engineers with strong experience in AWS cloud data services, Python programming, and REST API integrations to support GenAI-related data workflows. Ideal candidates will have a background in financial services and a deep understanding of building secure, scalable, and optimized data pipelines in a cloud-native environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and event-driven workflows using AWS services like EventBridge, Step Functions, Lambda, and Secrets Manager. Use Python as the primary programming language to build and maintain robust data applications and services. Implement and manage REST API calls to connect and integrate multiple data sources and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into efficient solutions. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure high availability and timely data delivery. Manage and secure sensitive data and credentials using AWS Secrets Manager. Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Required Qualifications: 3–6 years of experience in data engineering or data integration roles. Strong expertise with AWS services including: EventBridge, Step Functions, Lambda, S3, and Secrets Manager Proficient in Python for data application development. Experience integrating and working with RESTful APIs. Strong command of SQL, including writing and optimizing queries to detect changes in source data. Experience in data modeling and transformation, particularly to meet specific web service contract requirements. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
