We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Data Engineer with a strong command of Power BI, Python, and data modeling techniques, specifically within the pharmaceutical industry. This role focuses on independently creating dashboards, predictive models, and data visualizations to support manufacturing, process optimization, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, and cross-functional collaboration, with a recent Master's degree in a relevant field. Key Responsibilities Data Analysis: Analyze large, complex datasets from pharmaceutical manufacturing to uncover insights that inform business and operational decisions. Predictive Modeling: Develop and implement predictive models to monitor and improve process performance. Collaboration: Partner with chemists, engineers, and other cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven strategies into product development and operations. Machine Learning: Apply advanced machine learning algorithms using frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch to optimize processes. Data Visualization: Independently design and build Power BI dashboards and presentations to effectively communicate key findings to stakeholders. Model Development: Create semantic models and Power BI Fabric-based data models for scalable reporting and analytics. Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience creating dashboards and presentations independently using Power BI (not as part of a team effort). Certified in Power BI Fabric. PL-300 certification and Python certification required. In-depth knowledge of Power BI semantic models and experience with Power BI Fabric. Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry, with a solid understanding of industry-specific processes and data needs. Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL. Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Preferred Qualifications (if any) Additional certifications or formal training in data modeling, data warehousing, or advanced analytics tools are a plus. Familiarity with FDA compliance, GxP data, or regulated data environments in pharma. Certifications (Required) Power BI Fabric Certification Python Programming Certification Education Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
