Located in Whitehall, Michigan, the  Design Engineer - Tooling position specializes in designing and prototyping tooling for groundbreaking engines using innovative materials and processes. This role is based out of our state-of-the-art Howmet Research Center, and will be a pivotal player in the advanced Development Tooling Lab . Primary Responsibilities : Design precision injection molding dies and manufacturing fixtures using Siemens NX. Create 3D CAD models and engineering drawings to meet aerospace customer specifications. Collaborate with customers, tool designers, and Howmet engineers for design development and approvals. Support manufacturing processes, with optional CNC programming tasks. Manage project timelines, documentation, and material acquisitions to ensure on-time delivery.
