NetImpact Strategies is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to support our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in application operations support, a foundational understanding of DevOps practices, and an interest in working closely with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). The role offers an opportunity to learn and grow in cloud technologies, CI/CD practices, and infrastructure automation in a secure and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Application Support: Provide day-to-day operational support for applications, including incident response, monitoring, and troubleshooting. CI/CD Support: Assist in maintaining and updating continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to support development and deployment activities. Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with developers and QA engineers to ensure that applications are deployed efficiently, with a focus on reliability and performance. Infrastructure Monitoring: Monitor application and system performance using tools such as AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or similar platforms. Environment Configuration: Support the setup and configuration of environments for development, testing, and production in AWS or other cloud platforms. Process Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance deployment and support processes. Security Awareness: Follow security and compliance guidelines in day-to-day support and infrastructure tasks. Qualifications
Required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 1–3 years of experience in application support, systems administration, or DevOps-related work Familiarity with the .NET stack. Basic experience with version control tools like Git. Exposure to CI/CD tools (., GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline). Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code concepts (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation preferred). Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python). Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (., CloudWatch, Splunk, or ELK). Eagerness to learn and grow in DevOps and cloud technologies. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset. Ability to follow established procedures and suggest improvements when applicable. Preferred Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS is a plus.
