Diamond Turning Innovations is seeking an enthusiastic individual responsible for the setup, programming, and safe operation of single-point CNC diamond turning machines to produce precision optical components. The role includes metrology, quality control, and basic machine maintenance.Any additional information you require for this job can be found in the below text Make sure to read thoroughly, then apply._*Work responsibilities include: *_*Machine Operation & Programming** Set up and operate diamond turning lathes for both prototype and high-volume jobs.*Metrology & Inspection** Clean, visually inspect, and measure optical components using Zygo interferometers, Luphoscan, etc.*Program & Process Adjustments** Modify machining parameters and troubleshoot tooling or program issues to maintain required tolerances.*Tooling & Maintenance** Set up diamond tools, balance spindles, perform vacuum chuck mounting, and conduct routine preventive maintenance.*Documentation & Training** Record inspection data and job details.
