Overview The eFIN Team is staffed with experienced engineers across a range of mechanical, civil, electrical, and I&C disciplines, and generally serves as the initial point of contact for all emergent and near-term engineering support. Responsibilities Protect work week schedule by supporting resolution of emergent, short cycle, and near-term engineering work Engineering point of contact for execution of online work week schedule and resolution of online Engineering Holds Engineering support of Operability process (Input to Operability, Prompt Operability Evaluations) Engineering post work testing Engineering technical support for PROMPT Team Maintenance Engineering technical support for resolving operating challenges Planning support for emergent questions and assistance to in‐field activities Emergent complex troubleshooting support (FMEA, Confirm/Refute, etc). Temporary leak repair evaluations Freeze seal evaluations Prepare Minor Design Modifications Identifies and performs task as required to meet objectives Lead interpretation and analysis of complex issues Coordinates assigned projects, studies and initiatives through completion Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment Prepare and present reports including recommendations to resolve complex issues Participate in and on occasion lead special project and committees Lead complex problem solving efforts All other duties as assigned. Requirements 4 yrs Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field 6 yrs related job experience Proficient computer skills in standard Windows programs (Excel, Word, etc) Team work and collaboration skills across organizational boundaries Able to communicate complex issues effectively through written and verbal communication Able to influence by establishing effective working relationships across organizational boundaries In-depth understanding of power plant equipment and systems Able to evaluate technical alternatives in light of their economic contribution to the business Able to apply systematic problem solving processes to address complex issues
