McKesson is seeking a Controls, Electrical and Software Engineering candidate for our Longmont, CO facility with an opportunity to work from home. This role is responsible for programing, supporting, and troubleshooting automated machines and will be tasked to lead some controls & electrical exercises with Mckesson and within the Controls Department. Additionally, be a key member of the team for field implementation and support. Critical Skills Beckhoff TwinCat 3 Programming software or equivalent IEC 61131-3 standard controls programing software AutoCAD Electrical Experience Experience with reading electrical schematics Preferred Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products Robotic program experienceYamahaABBEpson Demonstrate strong leadership ability Self-motivated and a willingness to learn C# development Vision software experience Visual studio experience Jira experience Experience with Solidworks Knowledge of NFPA70, NFPA79 and UL 508A Key Responsibilities: Assist with the development of diverse control scheme designs for state-of-the-art automated pharmaceutical equipment Help develop wiring and programming standards for the future of the company Assist team of engineers through high level projects, research, development, and support Help develop programming for various new machines and works closely with software developers to create a comprehensive programming data exchange Developing HMI interfaces to improve quality for the end user Be a subject matter expert for programming logic controllers and associated robotic and controls software Tracking of workload via Jira Review, create and maintain machine and panel schematics that abide by relevant electrical codes Provide engineering support and service leadership to the organizations’ efforts to resolve complex customer technical issues controls, software, or hardware issues Work on system mechanical and software start-up Archive all internal machine functional specifications and hardware architectures Actively participate in cross functional teams that may include Software Engineering, Product Management, and Hardware Engineering on feature design and requirements Participate in customer site visits to intervene with resolving problems of high severity; 25-35% travel is expected We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
