Electrical Design Engineer – MEP | Las Vegas, NV

We're seeking an experienced and driven Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing team in Las Vegas ! This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to work on exciting commercial, educational, and institutional projects while advancing into a Lead Engineer / Department Head position.

You’ll collaborate closely with project managers and design teams to deliver top-tier electrical system plans and specifications. If you're ready to take the lead in design, coordination, and project execution in the MEP industry, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

Design and prepare electrical engineering drawings with minimal supervision

Lead the preparation of power distribution, lighting, and auxiliary systems

Coordinate electrical systems with clients and multidisciplinary teams

Guide electrical designers and production personnel through project completion

Interpret and apply building codes, technical specifications, and industry standards

Serve as a key contributor to the department’s long-term leadership

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering (BSEE or BAE)

PE License in Nevada or ability to obtain within 6 months (reciprocity acceptable)

8–15 years of experience in electrical design for commercial, educational, or institutional facilities

Proficiency with AutoCAD MEP , Revit , and electrical design software

Deep understanding of NEC and current building codes

Strong communication and team coordination skills

Ability to lead and mentor junior designers and production staff
