Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or adjacent.
At least years of Electrical engineering experience either within (or as a consultant to) the industrial, chemicals, refinery, or energy industry.
Experience and knowledge in Power Distribution schematics, wiring diagrams, one-lines, equipment arrangements, and lighting design.
Competence in Project Management activities such as scope development, cost and man hours estimate, bid package development, scheduling, vendor evaluation / review.
Front-End Loading (FEL) Design experience on Plant Capital Projects
Arc Flash Hazard Analysis Experience (Strong Plus)
CAD skills (D & D)
What are Your Primary Responsibilities?
As an Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and working with our clients primarily on Front-End Loading Design of Industrial Plant Capital Projects
Design of electrical systems and components for chemical and other industrial process facilities
Responsible for study, design, specification, and services related to electrical systems including power generation, power systems performance and control, power distribution, cabling and wiring, lighting, motor control centers, communication systems, cathodic protection, grounding, lightning protection, heat tracing, etc.
Assist in conducting Electrical reviews of all project packages
Review project design estimates and work scopes for new projects
Consulted on design, specification, selection, and services relating to instrumentation and control systems including basic process control systems, safety systems, control panels, analyzer systems, telecommunications, field instrumentation, valves, etc.
Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
Will require some travel to client work sites as needed.
