What does this role look like?
We are looking for you to provide avionics engineering coordination with various subsystem leads from the Orion production facility at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
• Engineering tasks will include integration and test support, anomaly identification and resolution, and schedule coordination with the Assembly, Test and Launch Operations (ATLO) organization. • Provide required technical documentation and representation in appropriate engineering boards and panels will be required. • Close support and communication with technical leads from the Orion production floor at the Kennedy Space Center-O&C is required. • Some travel may required.
To be effective in this role, you will need:
• At least 2 years experience and knowledge in electrical components and systems with a bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering. • 5+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's; or 3+ years of professional experience with a Master's degree.

Desired skills • Electrical harness design, development, and integration skills in an aerospace production environment is desired.
• Use of basic engineering analysis and presentation tools.
• Past experience as a flight hardware lead engineer responsible for electronic hardware delivery and installation is a plus.
• Effective communication, presentation, and coordination skills with technical lead personnel and management level is desired to be effective in this position.
