About The Role At Ample, you'll be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to impactful innovation. We value diversity, collaboration, and provide a supportive environment for your ideas. As an Electrical Engineer on the Vehicle Integration Team , you will develop Ample’s next-generation Vehicle Integration System.
What You'll Do
Bring key features to product through full cycle of design, verification, and validation.
Define hardware requirements supporting different vehicle platforms.
Collaborate internally to bring up new products and update designs rapidly.
Work with auto manufacturer partners for system integration and homologation.
Support hardware for mass production and field deployment.
What You'll Bring
1-3+ years of industry experience or equivalent.
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with embedded hardware development and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, SPI, I2C, Serial).
Fundamentals of analog/digital electrical systems such as sensors and motors.
Rapid prototyping skills.
Hands-on experience building electrical systems.
Bonus
Understanding of EMI/EMC best practices.
Experience with production scaling.
Knowledge of functional safety (ISO26262) or safety analysis.
Experience with high-voltage battery systems.
