Electrical Engineer - Power Generation Middletown, CA | Full-Time | Energy & Utilities Sector An industry leader in the power generation space is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join its high-performing operations team at a large-scale renewable power facility in Middletown, California . Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and maintain power plant electrical systems and equipment

Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance programs for electrical assets

Assist with instrumentation, controls, and protection system upgrades

Perform root cause analysis and reliability assessments

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and electrical code standards

Interface with engineering and project teams on capital improvements

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

3+ years of experience in a power generation, utility, or heavy industrial environment

Strong understanding of switchgear, protection systems, and control systems (e.g., DCS, PLCs)

Knowledge of NERC, NEC, and relevant regulatory standards

Proficiency with tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or SKM preferred

Hands-on problem-solving mindset and strong communication skills
