*Position Overview*
We are currently accepting resumes for an *Electrical Hardware Engineer* to join our growing Electrical Engineering team. This position will be responsible for electrical hardware specifications, panel hardware layouts and creation of schematics for the overall build of our state-of-the-art robotic work cells. This is a hands-on role that will help write the specification, design and ultimately build electrical hardware into our automation systems. This role will require a 50/50 split of your time between office and the shop floor.
*Responsibilities and Duties:*
* Utilize AutoCAD Electrical to create schematic drawings based on customer standards. * Support build of electrical control panels and power distribution panels * Support the build of automated tooling and robotic cells * Support the installation at customer’s site * Work alongside Electrical Controls Engineers to ensure quality hardware builds * Review and verify existing customer equipment * Evaluating electrical systems, products, and components to ensure efficiency and innovation during design
*Qualifications and Skills:*
* Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or similar program * 1+ years experience as Electrical Engineer or Electrical Engineering Tech is required * Experience with AutoCAD Electrical * Understanding of controls and power distribution circuitry * Basic understanding of ladder logic for PLCs * Basic understanding of HMI programming software * Knowledge of current safety standards * Knowledge of best practices for hardware specifications * Strong communication skills and ability to use Microsoft Office
