Applied Research Associates, Inc.'s (ARA) office in Lafayette, CO is looking for engineers with expertise in the design, manufacturing, and testing of RF components, subsystems, systems, and associated hardware. This individual will perform and supervise technical tasks and teams during the development, production, and integration phases of our antennas, arrays, RF circuits (amplifiers, filters, feeds), analog and digital circuits (electronics, sensors, controls), power distribution (AC/DC), radomes, RF transmitters and receivers, and beamsteering mechanical positioners. Responsibilities include the implementation of innovative manufacturable solutions and the formulation and execution of advanced unique fabrication and measurement processes. The position involves the routine use of RF, electrical and mechanical CAD software, RF test equipment (network and spectrum analyzers, near field and far field antenna ranges), and metals working and composites materials fabrication methods. The candidate must be a hands-on, mechanically inclined electrical engineer with strong leadership and interpersonal skills. The candidate must be comfortable and able to safely operate electrical, chemical, and heavy equipment.
Salary range: $90,000-135,000/year, dependent upon education, experience, and skills.

Apply electrical and mechanical engineering design principles and techniques.
Operate an assortment of specialized manufacturing and electrical test equipment.
Troubleshoot and optimize designs and processes through logical experimentation.
Work closely with Subject-Matter Experts to achieve project objectives.
Electrical / Mechanical RF Engineer Requirements:
Candidates selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
B.S. Engineering, 5-7 years of experience.
Preferences for the Electrical / Mechanical RF Engineer:
B.S.E.E. with antenna coursework desirable. Experience working in antenna industry preferred.
