The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) team.
Location: This position does not support teleworking ;the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: and be expected to work in the office full-time.

What does this role look like?
In this role, you will support the LE2 program for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE). Use your strong electrical engineering skills to work with all project partners and define the future for FBM!
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
• Participate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, alterations, material procurement, manufacturing, test and acceptance for a wide variety of electrical and electromechanical test systems and multifunction integrated test equipment in support of the US Navy’s Ballistic Missile Flight Test Program. • Create/update project/process documentation that align to project requirements. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Support the design, procurement, assembly, test and verification of our automated test systems, including data review and trending. • Develop hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systems. • Interface with suppliers, customer and internal design teams to provide cost effective and low risk solutions. • Develop test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal design and business teams, vendors and customers. • Support, as required, Failure Review Board activities through closure. • Ability to travel and work at alternate work sites as required, less than 25%.
To be effective in this role, you will need:
• Experience in both design and test of electrical hardware • 2+ years professional experience; 0+ years with Masters degree. • While no clearance is needed to start this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance , thus US Citizenship is required.

Desired skills • Technical background with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or other similar systems. Experience with interconnect designs • Experience reading schematic diagrams and other technical documentations • Experience troubleshooting • Excellent verbal and written communications skills. • Experience with product life cycle (development, deployment, retirement) • Must be able to work autonomously and drive items to closure
