Volt is immediately hiring a Program Manager in Maplewood, Minnesota with a well-known industry leader.
In this role you will lead cross functional teams to quote and scale-up new, custom designed parts for the automotive division
This is a first shift position.
As a Program Manager you will:
Lead 15 50 small projects simultaneously with > 10 key deliverables, > 24 - 36 months in duration with > 7 team members serving multiple key account teams
Record project information in a centralized project management system
Define initial project schedules and actively manage project schedules to drive projects to completion.
Communicate key project schedule information to internal team and key customer contacts
Collaborate with business management, stakeholders, and project team members to coordinate the planning of multiple concurrent projects
Willingness to be on-call
This is a full-time contingent opportunity
Estimated Duration 24+ months
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience generating project schedules, and quoting & scaling up new parts
Experience in communicating with global customers
Problem solving utilizing resources across departments
Influence, communication, collaboration, negotiation, resilience and determination
Ability to multi-task and handle large workloads under time constraints
An energetic, resourceful and hands-on individual
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
Pay Rate: $80-91.00 per hour
