Contract Length: 5 months

Rate: $40-43/hr

Job Description Required Skillset for Continuous Quality Improvement Engineer

Technical Skills:

Video Time Studies : Ability to perform video time studies to analyze and baseline material testing value streams.

Value Stream Mapping (VS Mapping) : Experience creating detailed value stream maps for product testing processes from raw material receipt to product release.

Statistical Analysis :

Strong experience with statistical sampling methods.

Proficiency with Minitab or similar statistical software.

Statistical sample size determination and justification expertise.

Lean Six Sigma (LSS) :

Practical knowledge of Lean tools and techniques.

Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.

Demand Flow Technology : Familiarity with Demand Flow tools and technologies; training or certification is desirable.

Equipment Qualification : Experience in equipment qualification protocols for new lab test equipment.

Test Method Validation : Experience validating test methods in laboratory or production environments.

Project Management : Certification (PMP or similar) or practical experience managing improvement projects.

Change Management : Experience handling Engineering Change Orders (ECO) or related change projects.

Certifications:

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and/or Black Belt.

Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).

Demand Flow Technology Training/Certification (preferred).

Project Management Certification (preferred).

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to identify continuous improvement projects based on value stream mapping.

Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
